Today my mentor offered to treat me out for some lunch and wanted to talk and get acquainted more with each other. We went to eat at serramonte mall for some Panda Express. We were just talking she was asking me what interested me about being a critical care nurse. And why I chose it for my senior project. I responded by saying that some of my family members were taken care by critical care nurses and I think helping the needed is always good. I told her I chose it because i found it somewhat interesting and that some of my family were former critical care nurses. After lunch she again told me to observe what she did. She mainly just bathed patients and fed them. Also made me run some errands for her like delivering things. Everything she made me do was very minor.
